It was glitz, glamour, music and celebration all the way as students of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Jos (UNIJOS) came together yesterday for a memorable Dinner and Awards Night.
Held at the SSANU Secretariat, Permanent Site of the University of Jos, the event brought together students from 100 to 400 level, as well as friends, well-wishers and other guests who came out to celebrate with the department.
From stunning outfits to exciting performances and well-deserved recognitions, the evening delivered plenty of beautiful moments that will certainly remain in the memories of those who attended.
One of the major highlights of the night was the impressive musical performances by some of the talented artistes within the department.
The performers brought their A-game, keeping the atmosphere lively as students sang along, danced and enjoyed the entertainment.
And of course, it wouldn't be a proper dinner without plenty of food and drinks
Guests had enough to eat, drink and enjoy as the celebration continued into the evening.
Another major moment of the event was the swearing-in of the newly elected executives of the Department of Mass Communication.
The ceremony officially ushered in the new set of student leaders who are expected to steer the affairs of the department and represent the interests of the students.
We wish the new executives wisdom, strength and a successful tenure.
The excitement went a notch higher with the crowning of the new Face of AMCOMS.
The moment was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the evening, as students and guests celebrated the emergence of the new face representing the
department.

A special shout-out goes to the outgoing executives and the entire planning committee for their hard work and dedication in putting the event together.
From the planning to the execution, their efforts contributed greatly to making the evening a memorable one for the students and guests.
DA ERUDITES Are Up Next!
And just when you thought the celebrations were over, DA ERUDITES are coming through!
The 400-level class of the Department of Mass Communication, popularly known as DA ERUDITES, is set to host its own Dinner and Awards Night next Saturday at Usiju Event Centre.
If the departmental dinner was anything to go by, then expectations are already high for what DA ERUDITES have in store.
Will it be bigger?
Will it be more glamorous?
Will the outfits break the internet?
For now, it was a night of celebration, recognition, friendship, entertainment and unforgettable memories for the Mass Communication family of the University of Jos.
