Using your tithe to buy alcohol is not a sin – Reno Omokri says
Nigerian author and lawyer, Reno Omokri has taken to Twitter to state that people who drink alcohol are not committing sin against God.
The popular writer also noted that it is scriptural for an individual to buy alcohol with his/her tithe.
Going further, the writer maintained that even in heaven, they drink wine, so it is unscriptural for anyone to preach against alchohol.
“Drinking alcohol is no sin. Drunkenness is sin. It is unscriptural to preach against alcohol. Even in heaven they drink wine (Matthew 26:29). Paul encouraged wine drinking (1 Tim 5:23). Scripture allows you use your tithe to buy alcohol (Deu 14:26)”, he wrote.
Mr man, that early morning erection is not for sex, it only reminds you that you a man and the need to get up from bed and work to be a real man. Poverty are manufactured from the bed. If you follow all the dictates of your erections and urge for sleep, you will die in poverty.
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Erection is a state of arousal of sexual desires in a man in preparation for sexual exploit.
Having an erection is natural but obeying the dictates of your erection is a choice.
For every erection, there's a responsibility. Wise men have control over their erection but foolish men obey their erections.
Any erection not properly controlled is capable of leading one to early grave.
Many became useless fathers because they didn't control their erections.
Some are in prison because they followed the dictates of their stupid erection.
Others have lost great opportunities in life because their erection pushed them.
The stupidity of erection is that most times it isn't selective.
Unchecked erection has led great kings to be at the bed of their slaves and maids.
Erection has not left the clergy out of the drama as many have been found messing up with those they ought to be Shepherd over. What a stupid erection!
A strong man is not measured by the level of his physical muscle or by the number of nations he has conquered but by his ability to control his erection.
No man in history could be said to be more powerful than Samson yet his erection made him the weakest in history, his erection made him fall at the lap of a woman.
David killed Goliath and conquered many great nations but he couldn't conquer his erection, he became weak at the sight of Bathsheba, the wife of his servant.
Reuben ruined his future and generation after him because of his uncontrollable erection.
Don't let your erection destroy your destiny!
Your erection is a sign you are a real man but following it to everywhere it leads you is a sign of weakness.
Any man who cannot control his erection can't control his life.
The only time your erection cannot mislead you is when you use it within the confines of your marriage.
Stop following your erection, follow your vision.
Unto Him who is able to keep us from falling I commit each and everyone
of us we shall all finish well and finish strong. Amen
Here at Getting Smart, we’re enthusiastic about the future of learning. We believe in sharing innovative ways to improve the teaching of students and leading of schools and districts in order to inspire anyone seeking to better their work.
However, we also recognize that many educators may just be beginning to grapple with how to adapt their practice to the shifting needs of the future. For those just getting started or for those that now have the time to dig into the world of education innovation and improvement, we’ve created this overview of what we feel are five of the most important new teaching methods making a positive impact on students’ learning in the modern world.
Personalized Learning
Personalized learning isn’t terribly complicated in theory–at its core, it’s the idea that the “average” student (whom educators have traditionally designed curriculum for) doesn’t actually exist. Author Todd Rose continues to advocate for individuality and personalization in his books and practice and takes care to note that personalized learning is a practice in which educators seek to tailor challenges, lessons and instructional styles to support each student’s needs.
Personalizing learning is a worthy challenge. Networks like Silicon Schools and Big Picture Learning see great success through rigorous and well-managed approaches to personalized learning; however, it is important to continue to differentiate between 1:1 education and personalization and to note that edtech is simply a tool to help get there.
The common concerns related to PBL center around an assumption that a lack of focus on standard subject matter must be inherent in PBL, and that it won’t prepare students for college and career. However, these concerns are largely unfounded. PBL, when done well, is also proving to be a valuable method of equitable learning. We worked with PBLWorks to develop an HQPBL framework that is focused on highlighting how this can best be done.
Teachers have a unique role in PBL, in that in many ways they become collaborators and coaches rather than instructors as they help their students navigate their challenging projects. If you’re interested in learning more, we put together a guide that can help you get started. New Tech Network also provides a great example.
We all know that it’s valuable to take time out of the classroom. We at Getting Smart also advocate for the value of beautiful shared spaces. Place-Based Ed takes this all a step further, with a focus on integrating schools and communities by leveraging the “power of place” in order to equip–through authentic learning experiences–students with the tools and skills they need to collaborate, think critically and solve complex challenges. Place-Based Ed boosts student engagement, connects students to their communities in an age fraught with feelings of disconnectedness, and improves learning.
Formative Assessment is perhaps the lightest lift of this list for a teacher to begin incorporating into their practice. Formative assessment differs fundamentally from traditional summative assessment in that it is designed to provide the information necessary to make minor “course corrections” along the way, rather than judge whether or not a student “reached their goal” at the end of a unit.
Pathways continue to be a large part of the conversation surrounding learning. Pathways to careers, pathways to college, personalized learner pathways… and to meet this demand networks and partnerships are being formed to help communities create pipelines and equitable paths towards success. We’re proud to support a recent initiative in Kansas City that seeks to create new qualifications for high school students including client-connected projects, internships and much more.
Also interconnected into real-world learning is maker education. The maker mindset exists at the intersection of STEM, creative projects and a “get **** done attitude, and it’s all about giving your students a chance to engage their creative sides while having something cool (and often, though not always, tech-related) to show for it. If you’re looking for helpful resources, check out our list of three steps to get started, 10 things you wouldn’t think you’ll need and a list of 40 STEM networks and maker resources.

Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has warned doctors planning to relocate to countries like the United Kingdom, to reconsider such plans as they would lose out on getting hazard allowance.
Ehanire stated this while speaking at the Presidential Task Force (PTF) daily briefing on Thursday in Abuja.
According to him, there is no need for doctors to leave the country, as the government was working on better welfare for them.
Reacting to the report that 58 doctors were prevented from leaving Nigeria for the UK recently over visa issues, Ehanire expressed his surprise, noting that the movement was irregular as many of them were without visas.
“Now, this UK where they are going to, there’s no hazard allowance. They don’t give doctors hazard allowance. You just get your salary, that’s all. I’ve spoken to doctors there and they said it’s part of their job, part of what they’re trained for.
“But here, apart from your salary, we still try to add something to it in the hope that we’re going to attract our people to stay,” Ehanire said.
The Minister further stated that doctors owe Nigeria nothing, but it was important they bring “the experience and cutting-edge knowledge and skills they bring from abroad.”
“Also, we hastily bought tickets to Oahu without a second thought, as she was getting treatment there.
“Since spending a great deal of time and money, we are now looking for donations for funeral services.
“Any donation is greatly appreciated, even prayers!
“ If possible please share, we want to send her off beautifully as her heart and spirit were filled with a lot of generosity, love, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion.”
Galyn made her first acting role in Ray Parker. Jr’s music video for ‘I Still Can’t Get Over Loving You’ in 1983 and was listed in the cast of the upcoming drama, Teller’s Camp which was due for release in 2021.

The actress became more famous after she played a character named Helena on a 1996 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where she featured alongside Will Smith and also Angie in the 1990 film RoboCop 2.
