Include Them in Your Prayers": Yvonne Jegede Sparks Social Media Debate Over Her Categorization of Tinubu Supporters

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has ignited a firestorm of reactions online after sharing a biting, satirical take on the various supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In a post that quickly went viral, Jegede broke down what she identifies as three types of Tinubu supporters, categorizing them based on their mindset, belief systems, and emotional ties to the current government.

Jegede first describes a group she calls "We Don Enter Am," individuals who she claims know deep down that the current situation does not make sense but remain committed due to personal ties or obligations they cannot easily break. She follows this with "The Believers," a group that maintains a hopeful outlook, trusting that things will eventually get better with time.
For the final group, which she labels as "The Delusional Ones," Jegede did not hold back. She described them as people living in a bubble, famously adding that when people are praying for those in psychiatric wards, they should include them in their prayers.
This post has become a major talking point on social media. While some users found her breakdown humorous and reflective of the current political climate in Nigeria, others have criticized the actress for her harsh tone, leading to a divide in opinion across various platforms. As the debate continues, it serves as another example of how Nigeria’s political landscape continues to influence pop culture and social media discourse.
